One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in federal service. Experience must have been related to the work of the position for which application is made. To qualify at this grade level, your experience as documented in your resume must meet at least one of the following:
Provided technical advice, consultation, and assistance to management on a range of budget program issues; Reviewed and edited budget requests to assure that they conform to organizational policies, and standard operating procedures; Tracked the receipt, obligation, or expenditure of funds to ensure that objectives of the annual financial plan were being met on a timely basis. OR Successful completion of 3 (three) years of graduate level education, Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a budget analysis related program of study from an accredited college or university. OR A combination of graduate level education and specialized experience that is directly related to this position that together meets the qualification requirements for this position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
